Background

Medi IT's old website before Fatduck Marketing helped migrate WordPress to Wix.
BEFORE

Medi IT is an IT company based in Sydney, specialising in providing hardware, software, cloud, and networking services to medical practices and GPs. Despite their technical expertise, their online presence was hindered by an outdated Wix website that failed to effectively represent their business, branding, and industry.

Challenge

Medi IT faced several challenges with their existing website:

  • Outdated design and layout techniques

  • Ineffective call-to-actions (CTAs)

  • Lack of keyword research and onsite SEO

  • Poor copywriting that didn’t capture their brand essence

The objective was to create a modern, stylish website that adhered to best practices in web design, SEO, and copywriting while aligning with Medi IT’s branding and industry standards.

Solution

Fatduck Marketing approached the solution with a multi-faceted strategy:

Medi IT's revamped website after Fatduck Marketing's successful migration from WordPress to Wix.
AFTER
  1. High-Fidelity Mockups: We began by creating detailed mockups using Figma. This step allowed for easy adjustments and client feedback before any development work began.

  2. Keyword Research and Copywriting: Alongside the design, we conducted thorough keyword research and developed SEO-optimised copy to ensure the content was both engaging and search-engine friendly.

  3. Wix Development: Upon client approval of the mockups, we transitioned to the development phase in Wix. This included:

  • Upgrading from the old Wix builder to the latest version

  • Implementing the approved designs with transition effects and animations

  • Adding metadata, including unique titles and descriptions for each page

  • Creating social share titles, descriptions, and images

  1. Google Services Integration: We connected Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and Google Search Console (GSC) to track and optimize site performance.

Implementation

The implementation phase was carried out as follows:

  • Design Approval: After several iterations and feedback sessions, the high-fidelity mockups were approved by Medi IT.

  • Development: Following the blueprint provided by the mockups, we built the website in Wix, ensuring each element was precisely implemented.

  • SEO Optimisation: We integrated SEO best practices into the website structure, including keyword-rich content and optimised metadata.

  • Final Touches: We added interactive elements such as transition effects and animations to enhance user experience.

Results

The revamped website delivered impressive results for Medi IT:

  • Modern and Stylish Design: The new design significantly improved the visual appeal and usability of the website.

  • Enhanced SEO: The SEO efforts led to better search engine rankings and increased organic traffic.

  • Improved User Engagement: The use of CTAs and interactive elements resulted in higher user engagement and conversions.

  • Positive Client Feedback: Medi IT was thrilled with the outcome, appreciating the seamless transition from mockup to live website and the noticeable improvements in online presence.

Conclusion

The collaboration between Fatduck Marketing and Medi IT resulted in a successful website overhaul that not only met but exceeded the client’s expectations. The new website now effectively represents Medi IT’s brand and services, providing a solid foundation for future growth. Our ongoing relationship with Medi IT continues to thrive as we support their digital marketing needs.
